MONJAYAKI

During the Edo period, children would gather at sweet shops and practice writing characters using flour mixed with water on "mojiyaki," which is said to have evolved into "monjayaki."

OKONOMIYAKI

We select sweet cabbages from various regions throughout the year, including highland cabbages grown in the highlands of Nagano and Gunma in summer and autumn, and "snow cabbages" that are aged under the snow from winter to spring and have a sugar content comparable to that of melons.
